1. Overview
TumakrGuide ("we", "us", "our"), operated by One Day Korea Inc., is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your personal information when you use our service.
2. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly, such as your name, email address, and payment information when you create an account or make a purchase. We also collect location data during active tours to provide navigation and check-in features, device information, and usage data to improve the Service. When you purchase goods, we also collect your hotel name, hotel address, check-in date, and preferred delivery date to deliver them. This information is used only for delivery, and retention follows the existing retention terms of this policy.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to provide and improve the Service, process transactions, send tour-related communications, provide customer support, and personalize your experience. Location data is used solely for tour navigation and check-in functionality and is not tracked when you are not actively using a tour.
4. Information Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information with service providers who assist in operating the Service (such as payment processors and email services), when required by law, or to protect our rights. All third-party service providers are bound by confidentiality agreements. In the mobile app, we share advertising measurement data with Meta Platforms, Inc. (Facebook) and use RevenueCat to process in-app purchases. If you consent to ad measurement, RevenueCat may send purchase events to Meta from its servers.
6. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information, including encryption of data in transit and at rest. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, and delete your personal information. You can update your information by editing your profile in the Service, and request deletion by closing your account. Closing your account immediately deletes your login credentials, while profile information (name, contact information, email, and profile photo) is deleted or replaced with values that cannot identify you, and your location check-in history and tour playback progress are deleted as well. Reviews, posts, and comments you have already written keep their content visible for other users' context, with only the author label changed to 'Deleted user'. However, transaction records such as payments and orders are retained for 5 years (3 years for consumer complaint and dispute records) under the Act on the Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce before being destroyed, and during that period they are stored and managed separately from other personal information.
8. Children's Privacy
The Service is not intended for children under the age of 14. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 14. If we learn that we have collected such information, we will take steps to delete it promptly.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new policy on the Service and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
